Metal plating, finishing and polishing <br /> f. Motor and machinery service and assembly <br /> g. Painting, wood preserving and furniture stripping <br /> h. Pesticide and herbicide application <br /> i. Photographic processing <br /> j. Printing <br /> 4. Use Regulations <br /> 4.1 Prohibited Uses : Within the water 'resource district the <br /> following uses are prohibited:. Sanitary landfills , junk <br /> yards, municipal sewage treatment facilities with on-site <br /> disposal of primary or secondary-treated effluent, car <br /> washes, road salt stockpiles, dry cleaning establishments , <br /> boat and motor vehicle service and repair, metal plating, <br /> chemical and bacteriological laboratories , and any other <br /> use which involves as a principal activity the manufacture, <br /> storage, use, transportation or disposal of toxic or <br /> hazardous materials , except as allowed. by special permit <br /> below. <br /> 4.2 Special Permit Uses : The following shall be allowed in <br /> the Water Resource Districts only if granted a special <br /> permit: <br /> a. fuel oil or gasoline storage as a .principal use, in <br /> any amount, with the approval of the Board of Health. <br /> b. any use which includes retention of less than 30% of <br /> lot area in its natural state with no more than minor <br /> removal of existing trees and ground vegetation, or <br /> creation of impervious surfaces covering more than <br /> 40% lot area. <br /> C . any use which involves on site wastewater disposal <br /> facilities having over 15 ,000 gallons per day capacity <br /> or disposal of process wastes from operations other <br /> personal hygiene and food for residents , patrons and <br /> employees . <br /> d. any use involving generation of toxic or hazardous <br /> waste materials , incidental to the principal use. <br /> 4. 3 The Special Permit Granting Authority shall be the Board <br /> of Appeals . <br /> 4.4 Such Special Permit may be granted if the Board of Appeals <br /> determines that the intent of the by-law as well as the <br /> specific provisions of the Performance Standards are met. <br /> In making such determination, the Board of Appeals shall <br /> give consideration to: <br />
