Virginia White – LeClair Village Playground:
Partners at HAC, supportive of Mary LeClair, Linda Zammer. $100,000 to contribute in honor of
her late husband to offset Town funds.CPC request $210,000 Amended overall budget from 309
to 310 for plaques, landscape, etc. Any unused funds would be returned to CPC.
LB can you get any more money? Not very near to other communities. Let the community be
supportive. MWC, room to expand other play equipment – are neighborhoods in area, beautiful
complex setting with trees, a place where other kids would want to place, reduces that isolation.
POAH interested in a loan, they are interested, have not modeled it out. POAH is not interested
at this time to put a donation Property may not have enough cash flow, need to make payments.
Would require management under AHT.
Award up to 210,000 50% is a forgivable loan to be managed by the AHT. Additional funds with
TC
BH zammers have done a lot for our residents, lets help our most needy families.
MW feels POAH should give back to the community some money for the playground. Given
500,000 and 300,000 plus the land.
MWC supportive of all projects, understands POAH will gain income from this – Generous
contribution. Understand prices have risen, state of the art program for the needed kids, one of
the most important proposals we have.
POAH a non profit, all money they make goes into affordable housing. We met your ask in
finding more funds. Program isn’t as expensive as 2015 playground project. Have a deadline,
willing to discuss the loan if it is what the CPC wants to do.
To do a more targeted approach to get the community defined.
