Mashpee Historic District Commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> January 14,2021 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Virtual/Remote Meeting—Call-In (646)558-8656 <br /> Historic District Commission Members Present: Chairman Earl Mills, Sr., Dennis Balzarini, Brian Hyde <br /> and Maureen Paxton <br /> Also: Evan Lehrer,Town Planner <br /> Absent: Michael Robbins and Bradford Pittsley <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The Town of Mashpee Historic District Commission meeting was called to order by Chairman Mills at <br /> 9:08 AM on January 14, 2021. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> Chairman Mills opened the meeting by announcing that he was stepping down as Chairman of the <br /> Historic District Commission and then invited nominations to fill the position. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balzarini nominated Mr. Hyde to serve as Chairman. Mr. Hyde then asked if Mr. Balzarini <br /> would be interested in serving as Chairman. His response was negative. <br /> Mr. Hyde then asked if Ms. Paxton if she would be interested. Her response was she did not wish to <br /> serve as Chair at this point in time. Mr. Hyde then accepted the nomination to serve as Chairman. Ms. <br /> Paxton then seconded the motion. All members voted affirmative. <br /> Mr. Lehrer then made the point that since Mr. Hyde currently serves as Vice Chairman of the <br /> Commission, a nomination and vote should be conducted to elect a new Vice Chair. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Hyde nominated Ms. Paxton as Vice Chair. Mr. Balzarini seconded the motion. All voted <br /> affirmative. <br /> Chairman Hyde then presided over the meeting. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES—December 16, 2020 Meeting <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to accept the minutes as printed. Ms. Paxton seconded the <br /> motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> PROPOSED PROJECTS <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> Applicant: Mr. Dean Stanley <br /> Location: 234 Main St. <br /> Request: Certificate of Non-Applicability <br /> Description: The applicant is seeking endorsement of Certificate of Non-Applicability for <br /> repair, replacement and general maintenance of the trim,windows and front <br /> door of the residential property. <br />
