There was an overwhelming consensus
that a tribute was needed sooner than later. It was agreed that the Historic District Commission would
meet jointly with the Historical Commission at the end of the month. Given Ava Costello was in
attendance she said she would put it on the Agenda. The consensus was for a statue and a bench; place
to be determined. Being no further discussion, Chairman Hyde moved to the next business item.
The Town Community Development Director suggested that he prepare a letter to the Select Board
requesting they reach out to the Tribe to appoint a member to the HDC for the Chair's review and
approval.
