McManus, Conservation Agent <br />(zoom) <br />Steve Cook, Vice Chair <br />Dan Kent, Assistant Conservation Agent <br />Sandra Godfrey, Secretary <br /> <br />Marjorie Clapprood, Member <br />(zoom) (leaves 8:08) <br />Sarah Thornbrugh, Member (zoom) <br />Rich Sahl, Member <br /> <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br />6:30 <br /> <br /> Mr. Colombo, the Chairman, calls the meeting to order. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance/Moment of Silence. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />There is no public comment. <br /> <br />PRE/POST AGENDA <br /> <br /> Discussion <br /> <br />o VOTE – Adoption of Final Draft for Regulation 1 – Chapter 173 Conservation <br />Lands <br /> All documents and comments regarding Regulation One were received <br />and distributed for review. <br /> Commissioner Cook supports the regulation draft and agrees with <br />Commissioner Zollo’s view that staff involvement in the decision-making <br />process should remain. <br /> Commissioner Thornbrugh raised concerns about the language, <br />particularly around decision-making authority and public forums. <br />Suggested remanding the regulation to the bylaw review subcommittee to <br />address these issues and exploring language regarding aboriginal rights <br />and co-management with the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
