o Correspondence Received: <br /> The Popponesset Bay Association sent a 14-page letter, reportedly hand- <br />Commented \[AP1\]: Spelling Corrected <br />delivered on September 8, 2024, although it was received on September 9. <br />The letter contains detailed information that requires thorough review and <br />response. <br />o Current Action Plan: <br /> The discussion on the letter and parts of Draft Four will be postponed. <br /> This decision is due to the bylaw review subcommittee not having met yet. <br /> The aim is to setup the next meeting as soon as possible by coordinating <br />schedules. <br /> Conservation Commission Associate Member Resignation, Chad Smith - None <br /> Conservation Commission Introduction / Candidate, Neal Larsson <br />o Will be attending the September 26, 2024, meeting <br /> Executive Session Update 425 Monomoscoy Road: <br />o Initial scheduling on September 12, 2024, at 5 pm was discussed but deemed <br />irrelevant as the date has already passed. <br />o The rescheduled meeting will be held on September 26, 2024, at 5:30 pm. <br /> 2025 Conservation Commission meeting schedule: <br />o Frequency and Schedule: <br /> Current schedule: every two weeks <br /> Proposed change: The consideration of shifting to a 3-week schedule has <br />been discussed to reduce the frequency but could potentially lead to longer <br />meetings. <br /> Commissioners Opinion: Preference to maintain the bi-weekly schedule <br />due to anticipated workload. <br />o Meeting Start Time: <br /> Current Time: Meetings initially started at 6 pm, currently at 6:30 pm <br /> Proposed Timing: Discussion about reverting back to 6 pm, but opinions <br />vary based on participants’ personal situations, especially those with <br />children <br />o Meeting Format: <br /> In-Person vs. Zoom: It is suggested that Zoom meetings could expedite <br />proceedings and that physical attendance be reserved for quarterly <br />meetings <br /> Organization and Community Engagement: There’s a discussion on <br />improving meeting efficiency and public participation, potentially <br />reordering agendas for ease of access and engagement. <br />o Agenda and Hearing Limits: <br /> Current Challenge: The number of hearings per meeting can overflow, <br />leading to prolonged sessions <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
