Funk Health Careers Learning Center <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> CONVENE JOINT MEETING WITH THE FINANCE COMMITTEE <br /> Review, Discussion and Possible Action on Special and Annual Town Meeting Warrants with the <br /> Town Counsel, Finance Committee and the Town Moderator: <br /> The Select Board met in joint convention with the Finance Committee to review and take possible <br /> action on the Special and Annual Town Meeting warrants of Monday,May 6,2024. <br /> Discussion followed with respect to Article#10 of the Special Town Meeting warrant, a <br /> Community Preservation Committee article proposed to fund "a sum of money"for the purpose of <br /> funding the Pickerel Cove Road/Pickerel Cover Circle project. The proposed acquisition for open <br /> space, conservation and passive recreation purposes is comprised of(9)parcels of land consisting <br /> of 17.27 acres. <br /> Town Counsel Patrick J. Costello advised the article should be written for a specific sum of money. <br /> It was noted the Community Preservation Committee voted the sum not exceed $2,821,000 which is <br /> the appraised value of the subject properties. <br /> Select Board-Finance Committee <br />
