To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter III, <br /> Article X, Section 2 of the Town of Mashpee By-Laws by deleting <br /> from the first sentence the words "of twenty-,,one years " and by <br /> substituting therefor the followings "as determined from time <br /> to time by the General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts <br /> as being the lawful age for consumption of alcohol". <br /> ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Chapter III, <br /> Article �;'. Section 2 of the Town of Mashpee By-Laws to read: <br /> Article V instead of Article X, and "eighteen years instead of <br /> "twenty-one years" and by substituting therefor the following: <br /> "as determined from time to time by the General Court of the <br /> Commonwealth of Massachusetts as being the lawful age for con- <br /> sumption of alcohol"* . <br /> Motion accepted .as amended. A unanimous vote. <br /> ARTICLE 12.e To see if ithe Town `will vote 'to amend Chapter III , <br /> Article IX of the Town of Mashpee By-Laws *by ':deleting therefrom <br /> Sections 1 through 12 and substituting therefor *the following: <br /> "Section 1. The Board of Selectmen are authorized, from <br /> time,to time, to make regulations governing the taking of <br /> shellfish from the foireshores, flats and tidal waters of <br /> the Town of Mashpee. No such regulations shall become <br /> effective until a public hearing has been held by the Board <br /> of Selectmen and public notice of the regulations adopted <br /> shall have been given. The Selectmen shall be governed by <br /> all applicable General Laws in carrying out the authority <br /> ref. vested in them by this By-Law. . <br /> ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 12 as <br /> written.
