Ms. Conn reported that the Camera System Upgrade quotes exceeded <br /> $10,000,00 so it will need to be added to the Capital Improvement Plan(CIP), next year <br /> during the Annual Plan Update, Comcast solicited a quote to Mashpee Housing <br /> Authority, Brewster Housing Authority, and Mattapoisett Housing Authority to provide a <br /> dedicated fiber internet service. The board reviewed the quote, but the budget was very <br /> tight this year, and did not think it could be absorbed within the budget. Ms.Meizinger <br /> moved to decline the Co east Fiber Optic Cable Connection Contracts,seconded by <br /> Mr. Klein. Motion Carried. 5-Ayes, O-Nays. The board suggested pursuing a technology <br /> and security grant opportunity. <br /> 7. Other Business: The board talked about adding a speed bump to Job's Fishing Road. <br /> Mashpee Commons owns the property, and it has been reported that there have been <br /> discussions about this. <br /> 8. Cores Dondence/Communications: Ms.Allen reported that Ms.LeClair received a letter <br /> from the Governor's Office stating that she has been re-appointed to the Mashpee Housing <br /> Authority Board of Commissioners with a term to expire on.September 22, 2029; she was <br /> sworn in today at the Barnstable Court House. The board was pleased by this <br /> announcement, <br /> 9. Next Meeting Date and Time: Next meeting December 12, 2024, 5:30 PM at Asher's <br /> Path Community Room. <br /> 10. Adjournment: Mr. Klein moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Shackett. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 5-Ayes, O-Nays.
