8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 17, 2008 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Annual Town Meeting Warrant: (continued) <br /> Article 8: $262,755—Kids Klub Enterprise Fund <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve Article 8 of the Annual <br /> Town Meeting Warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Article 9: Community Preservation Fund Administrative and <br /> Operating Expenses Account: $25,000 <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve Article 9 of the Annual <br /> Town Meeting Warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Article 10: To appropriate $509,972.87, surplus bond proceeds from <br /> previously completed road projects to pay costs of <br /> designing and constructing various road improvements. <br /> The Selectmen were advised from Bond Counsel that <br /> surplus funds cannot be used for the referenced purpose. <br /> However, funds can be used to purchase land and/or to <br /> reduce the debt. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to remove Article 10 of the draft <br /> Annual Town Meeting Warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Article 11: To purchase St. Vincent's Property located on Main Street, <br /> Route 130,purchase price: $3,146,800. <br /> Article HELD. <br /> The Community Preservation Committee is expected to <br /> discuss this matter of March 18`h. <br />
