2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 22, 2008 <br /> Present: Selectman Cook, Selectman Cahalane, Selectman Myers, <br /> Selectman Green, Selectman Taylor <br /> Town Manager Joyce Mason <br /> Assistant Town Manager Rene Reaa <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Cook at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Approval and Execution of Intergovernmental_A, greeement: <br /> The Board of Selectmen held a special meeting for the purpose of <br /> executing an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Town of Mashpee <br /> and Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe approved at a Special Town Meeting on <br /> Monday, April 7, 2008. <br /> In attendance were Town Counsel, Patrick Costello, Tribal Council <br /> Chairman Shawn Hendricks, Tribal Council Vice-Chairman David <br /> Pocknett and Tribal Council attorney William McDermott. <br /> Town Counsel discussed the Agreement as made and entered into on this <br /> date, Tuesday,April 22, 2008. Attached to the document was Rider A, <br /> and a Memorandum of Agreement relative to the Town Cemetery parcel. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to adopt and execute the <br /> Intergovernmental Agreement by and between the Mashpee <br /> Wampanoag Tribe and the Town of Mashpee dated April 22,2008. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Myers. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Six copies of the Agreement were executed by the full Board of Selectmen <br /> and Shawn Hendricks. It was agreed the Town of Mashpee and <br /> Wampanoag Tribe would each retain three copies of the original <br /> Agreement. <br />
