Also present was Richard Stevens
Building Commissioner. Minutes from the Mashpee Design Review
Committee dated August 14, 2008 suggest that Mr. Buckley obtain the
engineering site plan to depict signage on Town property and if necessary,
apply to the Board of Selectmen for approval. Additional correspondence
from the Building Commissioner to the New Seabury Development
Corporation dated November 19, 2008 indicate that all signs recently
erected along Great Neck Road South and Great Oak Road are illegal and
are to be removed immediately. Mr. Stevens's memorandum also states it
is necessary for the applicant to apply for permits with the Building
Department for signs within the Town layout, file a hearing with the
Design Review Committee and then apply to the Board of Selectmen for
approval.
