7 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 5, 2007 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Review&Execution of Betterment Assessment—Cranbeny Ridize Road: <br /> The Board of Selectmen reviewed the Order for Betterment Assessments <br /> for construction improvements to Cranberry Ridge Road_ . It was disclosed <br /> the maximum betterment to be assessed to the residents is$2,488.56. Said <br /> road improvements are projected to cost$32,351.32. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve and execute the <br /> Order for Betterment Assessment for road improvements to <br /> Cranberry Ridge Road. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Myers. . - <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Review&Execution of Betterment Assessment—Harbor Ridae Road: <br /> The Order for Betterment Assessments for construction improvements to <br /> Harbor Ridge Road was reviewed by the Board of Selectmen.. The <br /> maximum betterment cost to be assessed to the residents is$1,935.85. <br /> Said road improvements are estimated to cost$21,294.35. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve and execute the <br /> Order for Betterment Assessment for road improvements to Harbor <br /> Ridge Road. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Myers. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> BLUE RIBBON COMPREHENSIVE COMMITTEE UPDATE: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Blue Ribbon Comprehensive <br /> Committee(BRCC)dated March 5, 2007 relative to post Blue Ribbon <br /> Comprehensive Committee recommendations. A Selectmen's Advisory <br /> Council is recommended for establishment to consist of(11) individuals <br /> who are the Chairman and/or designated representatives including(2)At- <br /> Large positions to review critical issues effecting the Town and make <br /> recommendation to the Board of Selectmen. <br /> The Selectmen determined to defer action until a final report is submitted <br /> in accordance to the mandate set forth by the Board eighteen months ago. <br /> The report will be placed on the Selectmen's agenda of April 9, 2007 for <br /> review and discussion. <br /> I <br />
