5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 4, 2007 <br /> Massachusetts Municipal Association—Municipal Partnership Act <br /> Advocacy Kit: <br /> The Municipal Partnership Act Advocacy Kit dated May 15, 2007 from <br /> the Massachusetts Municipal Association was forwarded to the Board of <br /> Selectmen for endorsement. <br /> Due to lack of full voting quorum, the matter was deferred to the June 18, <br /> 2007 Selectmen's Meeting. <br /> Town of Walpole—Cha ter 40B: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Town of Walpole dated May 17, <br /> 2007 relative to unfriendly 40B applications. A proposed letter in request <br /> of legislation to suspend Chapter 40B,the Comprehensive Permit law was <br /> included in the communication. <br /> The Selectmen agreed to request Town Counsel, Patrick Costello render <br /> an opinion regarding the ramifications of the issue. The matter will be <br /> discussed at the Selectmen's Meeting on June 18, 2007. <br /> Annual Reappointments: <br /> The Board of Selectmen reviewed the preliminary annual reappointment <br /> list for reappointments effective July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008. It <br /> was agreed the final list would be presented to the Board at their June 18, <br /> 2007 meeting. It was recommended that all positions be re-advertised, <br /> and letters would be remitted to individuals to re-affirm their interest. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Continent:None at this time. <br />
