2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 10, 2007 <br /> Cape Cod Women's Soccer League: <br /> The Board of Selectmen recognized the Cape Cod Women's Soccer <br /> League for a successful season. The team won the regular league title and <br /> championship playoffs. Two representatives from the Cape Cod Women's <br /> Soccer League who also play on the Mashpee High School soccer team <br /> expressed appreciation to the Town for continued support and for the use <br /> of the playing field. The league trophy was presented to the Selectmen for <br /> display at the Mashpee Town Hall. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Resolution—GIS Day 2007: <br /> GIS Administrator Tom Mayo was in attendance to request the Selectmen <br /> adopt the Resolution to promote Geography Awareness during the week of <br /> November 11-17, 2007 and National Geographic Information System <br /> (GIS) Day on November 14.2007. The Town and School Department in <br /> joint partnership are committed to expanding GIS in the schools to educate <br /> to students, the importance of Geography and Information Technology for <br /> their future and to promote advanced technology for the betterment of its <br /> citizens. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to adopt the Resolution and <br /> proclaim November 14,2007 as National GIS Day in Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> GIS—Proposed Fee Schedule: <br /> Tom Mayo presented an updated fee schedule for GIS services to the <br /> Selectmen for adoption effective August 29,2007. Services available <br /> include the prints of existing maps, custom maps, copies of large maps, <br /> database analyses, report generation, GIS data on CD format and GIS data <br /> on DVD format. It was noted the fee schedule has not been updated for <br /> several years. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to accept the GIS Service Fees <br /> Schedule as written. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
