10 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 15, 2004 <br /> NEW BUSINESS. <br /> Request for 111F Benefits—Officer Erik Green: <br /> Correspondence was received from Maurice Cooper; Chief of Police dated <br /> March 5, 2004 recommending the Board approve Section 111 F benefits <br /> for Officer Erik Green for an injury on duty incident dated March 2, 2004. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve Chapter 41, Section <br /> 111F Benefits for Officer Erik Green for injury suffered on duty. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Employee Policies for Consideration: <br /> Weapons Policy: <br /> A draft policy relative to prohibiting weapons of any kind on Mashpee <br /> Town Hall property, and other Town owned property was presented to the <br /> Selectmen for review. It was agreed that Town Counsel would review the <br /> proposed language of the policy. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Weapons Policy <br /> as presented subject to Town Counsel's review and approval. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Compensatory Tirne: <br /> Guidelines for compensatory time for executive, administrative and <br /> professional employees and salaried department heads exempt from the <br /> overtime provision of the Fair Labor Standards Act was presented to the <br /> Selectmen for review. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to adopt the Policy relative to <br /> Compensatory Time pending review of Town Counsel. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
