8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 29, 2004 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Article for Special Town Meeting; <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place on the Board's agenda an <br /> article request for Town Meeting. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalan. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Maurice Cooper, Chief of Police requested the Selectmen submit a Town <br /> Meeting article that would allow the Police Department an approval from <br /> town meeting to authorize an intra-transfer of funds from the personnel <br /> service line item to the expense line item in the sure of$13,000. <br /> The transfer is necessary due to increased energy and fuel costs. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to add to the Special Town <br /> Meeting Warrant the Police Department article as requested in the <br /> amount of$13,000. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Adjournment: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to adjourn at 7:33 p.m. <br /> The Board will enter into Executive Session at this time for the <br /> purpose of discussing personnel matters.
