7 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 26, 2044 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Waterways Chairman/Harbormaster--Re nest to Expend Fun s: <br /> Jim Flanks and Perry Ellis were present to request the Selectmen approve <br /> the expenditure of a sum less than$1000 to alleviate the seaweed problem <br /> along Seconsett Island. Funds would derive from the Waterways <br /> Improvement Account for the plastic netting used for aquaculture and <br /> marine applications. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalan to approve the expenditure of a <br /> sum not to exceed$1000 for seaweed netting as disclosed. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Request of Morning Glories Food, Inc., d/b/a The Country Store at <br /> Poppponesset—Sunday Seasonal Retail Liquor Sales: <br /> Selectmen Leveille stepped down for the above referenced agenda topic. <br /> The Selectmen were in receipt of a request from Antoinette Lambert, <br /> President of Morning Glories Food,Inc. d/b/a The Country Store at <br /> Popponesset dated April 16, 2004 requesting a permit for Sunday seasonal <br /> retail liquor sales. <br /> The applicant was not in attendance. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to continue the request of Morning <br /> Glories Food,Inc. to Monday,May 10,2004. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille abstained. <br />
