3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 13, 2002 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Department of Public Works: <br /> Greg Taylor, Director of Public Works discussed the following issues with <br /> the Board of Selectmen; <br /> Wheeler Road: <br /> The Board of Selectmen received the annual maintenance and repair <br /> request from the residents of Wheeler Road for DPW services. All work <br /> associated to the repair would be paid for with private funding. A break <br /> down of DPW equipment costs was presented to the Selectmen for review. <br /> The sum of$470 is estimated to provide road maintenance improvements. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the repair of Wheeler <br /> Road as referenced utilizing Town equipment as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Acce tance of Bid—Uniforms: <br /> Mr. Taylor recommended the Selectmen award the uniform bid to Unifirst <br /> as referenced in his memorandum to the Board dated April 29, 2002. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to accept the bid of Unif rst of <br /> Sandwich for uniform rental as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> CDM Proposal: <br /> The Selectmen reviewed a proposal from CDM, Camp Dresser and <br /> McKee, Inc. relative to engineering consulting services for Heritage Park. <br /> The matter was deferred for additional information and clarification. <br />
