5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 13, 2002 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Change Order—Mashpee Cemete!y: <br /> Correspondence was received from the BSC Group dated January 18, <br /> 2002 and March 12, 2002 relative the additional cemetery engineering <br /> services. An increase of$4,500 in the contract amount is proposed to <br /> revise the grave layout plant to meet the comments of the cemetery <br /> committee,prepare and attend unanticipated meetings due to the extended <br /> completion date of the project and assist in the relocation of the <br /> columbarium. <br /> Funds exists within budget for the above referenced change order <br /> proposal. Work associated to the change order is complete. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the change order, an <br /> increase of$4,500 in the contract amount to BSC as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> MashQee Commons Entertainment License: <br /> The annual entertainment license request of Mashpee Commons was <br /> presented to the Selectmen for review. The applicant, Melinda S. Gallant <br /> was unable to attend the Selectmen's Meeting. The matter was deferred to <br /> the next scheduled meeting. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Employee Appreciation Day—Barbeque <br /> Friday, May 17, 2002 <br /> 12:00 p.m. Mashpee Town Hall <br /> James Marr,the newly appointed Assistant Town Administrator will be <br /> present to greet the staff. Members of the Board of Selectmen have <br /> offered to cook and serve the meal in appreciation to Town employees. <br />
