1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 17, 2002 <br /> Present: Selectman Taylor, Selectman Leveille, Selectman Marsters, <br /> Selectman Green, Selectman Cahalane <br /> Town Administrator Joyce Mason <br /> Assistant Town Administrator Jim Marr <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Selectman Taylor at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Monday, June 6, 2002 Regular and Executive Sessions <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the Regular and <br /> Executive Session minutes of Monday,June 6,2002 as presented <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> iPublic Comment: <br /> Marcia King, Mashpee's representative on the county's Assembly of <br /> Delegates indicated that the Assembly is expected to vote this week to <br /> divide $250,000 in funds from the surplus among.each of the Cape's <br /> towns. <br /> Although formal notification has not been received,the Town of Mashpee <br /> should expect an award of$13,473.73. There are no restrictions as to the <br /> grant allocation, but notification must be remitted to the county of the <br /> intent. <br /> Ms. King also urged the Selectmen to encourage the Town Planner to <br /> apply for funding, up to $25,000 to assist with the Town's long range <br /> comprehensive plan. Proposals are to be remitted to the Cape Cod <br /> Commission for consideration and allocation purposes. <br />
