1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 23, 2002 <br /> Present: Selectman Taylor, Selectman Green, Selectman Cahalan <br /> Town Administrator Joyce Mason <br /> Assistant Town Administrator James Marr <br /> Absent: Selectman Leveille, Selectman Marsters <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Taylor at 6:03 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Monday, September 9 2002 Regular and Executive Sessions: <br /> The above referenced minutes were deferred at this time. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Comment: <br /> Mash pee Charter Commission members Ed Larkin and Elizabeth Pe i <br /> p tt <br /> were present to request the Selectmen support Article #4 of the October <br /> Town Meeting warrant proposed to fund expenses associated to the work <br /> of the Charter Study Commission. <br /> A breakdown of expenses was detailed for fiscal year 2003 and 2004. In <br /> FY03, the sum of$15,000 is requested in the proposed budget draft. The <br /> sum of$10,000 is estimated to support legal municipal expertise <br /> imperative for the draft Charter Commission document. <br /> The budget draft request for FY04 is $14,150. It was agreed that the <br /> matter would be further reviewed on tonight's agenda with members of <br /> the Finance Committee. <br />
