2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 7, 2002 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Request of Mashpee Chamber of Commerce: <br /> Liquor License for Oktoberfest: <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced agenda topic. <br /> The annual liquor license request of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce <br /> to sell beer and wine at the Oktoberfest was presented to the Selectmen for <br /> approval. The event will be held under the tent at Mashpee Commons this <br /> weekend. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Liquor License <br /> request of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce as presented for beer <br /> and wine only. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille absent, Selectman Marsters absent for vote. <br /> iCOMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Fire Department—Contract Negotiations: <br /> The Board of Selectmen was in receipt of correspondence from the Fire <br /> Department relative to contract negotiations. The Selectmen agreed to <br /> further discuss the matter in Executive Session. <br /> Town of Falmouth—Growth Forum: <br /> Members of the Board of Selectmen were encouraged to attend a forum on <br /> growth in the Town of Falmouth. The date and time will be announced. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Town Meeting Warrant Review: <br /> The Board of Selectmen reviewed articles pertaining to the October Town <br /> Meeting warrant. In attendance was Town Counsel, Theresa Dowdy, the <br /> Town Accountant, Diane Rommelmeyer and Town Moderator,Jeremy <br /> Carter. <br /> • <br />
