11 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 9, 2001 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing-Underground Storage Tanks: <br /> Selectman Leveille opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Johnny Hatem, Hatem Enterprises, Mashpee,Inc. 94 East Falmouth <br /> Highway, East Falmouth MA 02536,for Underground Fuel Storage <br /> Tanks (one 15,000 gallon unleaded gas tank and one 8,000 gallon tank <br /> split with a double bulkhead to contain 4,000 gallons of super <br /> unleaded and 4,000 gallons of diesel fuel) at 723 Falmouth Road <br /> (Route 28),Mashpee. <br /> Johnny Hatem was present with his counsel, Paula Kelley of Ament & <br /> Ament to discuss the license application. It was noted that the Deputy Fire <br /> Chief has approved the license application as submitted. <br /> i <br /> Discussion followed with respect to the aboveground tanks. The <br /> Selectmen agreed to continue the hearing to obtain finiher clarification <br /> from Deputy Hamblin with respect to containment issues. <br /> Being no comment,the Board motioned to continue the hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to continue the Public Hearing on <br /> the application of Johnny Hatem for Underground Fuel Storage <br /> Tanks to Monday,April 23, 2001. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Public Hearing cont'd— Gone Tomatoes: <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced hearing. <br /> Selectman Cahalan presided and opened the Continuation Hearing <br /> regarding the relocation of Gone Tomatoes. <br /> The applicant was not present for discussion. It was noted that the <br /> principal is presently in the permit process for a new restaurant building. <br /> It was noted that William Petralia, Mashpee Restaurant, Inc. has offered to <br /> surrender his present license and has requested to be considered for a <br /> license in the future when all necessary processes are in order. <br /> i <br /> Being no comment,the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br />
