l <br /> 4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 7, 2001 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Mashpee Restaurant, Inc. d/b/a Gone Tomatoes—Liquor License— <br /> Rescind Revocation: <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced agenda topic. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille absent. <br /> Correspondence was received from Town Counsel, Kopelman and Paige <br /> dated May 7, 2001 recommending the Board rescind its revocation of the <br /> liquor license held by Mashpee Restaurant, Inc. It was noted that the <br /> Board was not aware that a bankruptcy notice was sent to the Tax <br /> Collector. In addition, it was recommended that the Board advise the <br /> applicant that no new liquor license is available. Presumably, the <br /> applicant could approach an existing license holder for a transfer of <br /> license if it wanted to conduct liquor sales and service in the future. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to rescind the revocation of the <br /> liquor license held by Mashpee Restaurant, Inc. dlb/a Gone Tomatoes, <br /> and direct the Assistant Town Administrator to remit correspondence <br /> to the applicant as advised by legal counsel. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille absent. <br /> Town Meeting Warrant Review—Discussion of Motions: <br /> The Selectmen prior to the Annual Town Meeting reviewed motions and <br /> related warrant articles. In attendance were Diane Rommehneyer, Town <br /> Accountant, and Jeremy Carter,the Town Moderator. <br />
