1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 8, 2001 <br /> Present: Selectman.Cahalane, Selectman Taylor, Selectman Marsters, <br /> Selectman Green <br /> Town Administrator Robert Whritenour <br /> Absent: Selectman Leveille <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Vice.Chairman Cahalan at_6:36 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Mashpee Community Park—Approval of Change Order: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> A change order was presented to the Selectmen for the placement of sod <br /> on the center-island of the community park area in lieu of hydra-seed for <br /> instant beautification of this area prior to the Memorial Day presentation. <br /> The Mashpee 2000 Committee shall fund contributions for the change <br /> order. <br /> r Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the Community Park <br /> Change Order as described. The Town will seek to purchase and <br /> install the sod and request'of the general contractor, credit for the <br /> hydro-seed. The intended scope is approved for a sum not to exceed <br /> $1,1.00. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 40. <br />
