Jean Thomas <br /> In discussion with Police Chief Frye regarding the capabilities of <br /> the recording system as specified the existing system should be capable of <br /> logging calls to the Fire Department and the Police Department simultaneously. <br /> It is the failure of the supplier to meet specifications agreed to. Therefore, <br /> it is this Committee ' s opinion that the 4-channel cassette logger expense <br /> budgeted for $4,674 is not necessary because the burden for fulfilling this <br /> need is on the current supplier and not the "Town of Mashpee. <br /> It was further felt that economies of $6, 195 could be made within <br /> the original budget request as submitted by the Fire Department. <br /> CH/gm <br />
