I Finance Committee Minutes April 5, 1988 Page 2. Mr., Costa of the Board of Health joined the meeting to discuss the Article on the Annual Warrant for a vehicle for the Department. The Finance Committee has recommended that there be one new vehicle to be shared by the Health Dept. and the Conservation Commission and to be maintained by the DPW. George stated his belief that he just doesn't think this can be done. The problem is that the Health Department just can' t tell when they need the truck. He noted that the Health Department generates a lot of income for the town. Chairman Heller noted that the town can not afford two trucks this year, and he would like the two departments to try and work out some sort of agreement for this year and next year the Finance Committee would go for another vehicle. George stated he would rather see one department get the truck this year and the other department wait till next year. Heller called for a meeting, April 13, at 10 a.m. at the Health Department. This will be a joint meeting between, Health Department , Conservation, and Finance Committee to see if there is a solution to this issue. The Board Secretary was instructed to inform concerned parties. The Finance Committee proceeded to review the Article on the Annual Warrant, and affirm their positon on these articles.
