t <br /> 4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 29, 2001 <br /> NEW BUSINGSS: <br /> Approval and Execution of Housing Authority Deed: <br /> The Selectmen reviewed the quitclaim deed from the Town to the <br /> Mashpee Housing Authority conveying the 6.34 acres located between <br /> Carleton Drive, Ashers Path and Route 28 shown on Assessors' Map 62, <br /> Block 244 for affordable housing purposes. <br /> A Disclosure of Beneficial Interests in the Real Property Transaction to be <br /> signed by the Housing Authority was also enclosed. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve and execute the <br /> Quitclaim Deed amended to grant the Board of Selectmen full <br /> authority of said deed. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Approval and Execution of Personal Services Agreement: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve and execute <br /> the Personal Services Agreement between the Town of Mashpee <br /> and George Baker as Fire Chief. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Request of AMEC Earth& Environmental: <br /> Correspondence was received from AMEC Earth&Environmental dated <br /> September 20, 2001 requesting the Board approve the soil sampling of <br /> land within the Town of Mashpee. A nine-point grid would be set up at <br /> each stake for the collection of mineral soil to a depth of six inches using <br /> hand tools. Each of the nine samples would composite into a single <br /> sample for laboratory analysis. The background soil sampling is <br /> associated to the Camp Edwards impact area groundwater study. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the request of AMEC <br /> Earth & Environmental as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
