5 <br /> k <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 3, 2001 <br /> } <br /> Y <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> i <br /> Recommendation for Regional Salt Bid: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Director of Public Works <br /> dated November 20, 2001 recommending the Board accept the Plymouth <br /> Regional Salt Bid #2125 as referenced. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the Plymouth <br /> Regional Salt Bid for Mashpee as provided by; <br /> Eastern Salt Co.,Inc.—road salt at $36.02 per ton and <br /> All States Asphalt, Inc.—liquid calcium at $.88 per gallon <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Appointments to Senior Citizen Building Committee: <br /> The Council on Aging remitted a list of four Mashpee residents for <br /> appointment to the Senior Citizen Building Committee in a memorandum <br /> addressed to the Selectmen dated November 28, 2001. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint the following to the <br /> Senior Citizen Building Committee; <br /> Jean. Noussee Martin Henry <br /> Irving B. Goldberg Edward P. Adam <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Two additional candidates were recommended by the Selectmen for <br /> appointment. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to appoint Betty Nichols and <br /> Arthur Weinstein to the Senior Citizen Building Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
