8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 3, 2001 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Finally Dino's Request for Extended Hours—New Year's Eve: <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced issue. <br /> Constantinos Mitrokostas,President of Barnstable Pizza &Pasta Co., <br /> dlb/a Finally Dino's was present to request the Selectmen allow his <br /> establishment to remain open until 2:00 a.m. on New Year's Eve for the <br /> purpose of holding a private fundraising function. <br /> Finally Dino's would observe regular liquor licensing hours. The Las <br /> Vegas Night, a private fundraiser would be held in conjunction with the <br /> Mashpee High School Boosters Club. Ticket sales would be limited to <br /> 200. Proceeds from the admission"cover charge" of$20.would support <br /> the Booster Club. <br /> There was no public comment. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to extend the entertainment <br /> license of Finally Dino's until 2:00 a.m. on New Years' Eve only,with <br /> the stipulation that no alcoholic beverages would be poured after <br /> 1:00 a.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille absent. <br /> Public Hearing—Flume Restaurant: <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced Hearing. <br /> Selectman Cahalane opened the Public Hearing on the request of The <br /> Flume, Inc., d/b/a The Flume, Earle H. Mills, Sr., Manager to close from <br /> November 26, 2001 until March 28, 2002 for annual renovations and <br /> repairs. <br /> Joyce Mason, Acting Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing <br /> notice as published. Robert Mills was present to discuss the intended <br /> closure with the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Being no comment the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br />
