Z <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 7, 2000 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Reappointment Process—Town Boards and Committees: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to place the above topic <br /> as an agenda item of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> The Board agreed to establish procedure relative to the Annual <br /> Reappointment Process for all Town Boards and Committees. <br /> Sixty days prior to the annual appointment date of June 30th, <br /> all vacancies shall be duly advertised in the local papers. To stimulate <br /> interest,the Board also agreed to advertise all vacancies at the <br /> May Annual Town Meeting, and on Election Day. <br /> All Town Boards and Committees will be requested to remit an . <br /> attendance record to the Selectmen for additional review. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Street Light Committee Request for Additional Lights: <br /> Greg Taylor, a member of the Street Light Committee recommended <br /> the Board approve (9) poles at the locations as described in his <br /> memorandum to the Selectmen dated January 27, 2000. <br /> The street light proposals located on Great Neck Road South,Route 151, <br /> Old Barnstable Road and Route 130 were recommended for an estimated <br /> annual cost of$100 per year per streetlight. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to accept the recommendation <br /> of the Street Light Committee for(9)additional poles as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
