Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 7, 2000 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Approval of Library Grant Request: <br /> Correspondence was received from Helene DeFoe dated <br /> January 31, 2000 requesting the Board approve a grant application for <br /> submission to the Board of Library Commissioners for an $8,000 <br /> mini-grant on Connecting Cultures. <br /> If approved, the grant will allow the Library to hold a series of programs <br /> including, but not limited to storytelling, music, art and literature of the <br /> various cultural groups that make up the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to approve the Library's request to <br /> seek grant funding as described. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Acceptance of ResigLiation from Joseph Della gal <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to accept the resignation of <br /> Joseph Dellagala from the Cape Light Compact Committee with <br /> regret. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> The Board directed the Town Administrator to draft a letter of <br /> appreciation to Mr. Dellagala for his dedicated service to the Town of <br /> Mashpee. <br /> A roval to Advertise for Cemetery Committee: <br /> fMotion made by Selectman Blythe to advertise for membership for <br /> the Cemetery Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
