3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 13, 2000 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing—Contrast Entertainment License: <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Southbank Co., Inc., d/b/a Contrast, 38 Nathan Ellis Highway,Mashpee <br /> Commons,Mashpee for an Entertainment License to include live music, <br /> vocals and amplification. <br /> Selectman LeveilIe stepped down for the above referenced hearing. <br /> Joyce Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the Public <br /> Hearing notice as published. Christian Soderstrom, Manager was present <br /> to discuss the license application with the Selectmen. <br /> It was noted that the applicant intends to provide live music and vocals in <br /> jazz, blues, and other various styles in keeping with their commitment to <br /> provide fresh and interesting events to their patrons. There will be no <br /> dancing by patrons on the subject premise. <br /> Being no comment, the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille abstained. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to approve the application of <br /> Southbank Co.,Inc., d/b/a Contrast, Mashpee Commons, Mashpee <br /> for an Entertainment License to include live music,vocals and <br /> amplification only. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman LeveilIe abstained. <br />
