r <br /> Finance Committee Minutes <br /> March 14, 1991 <br /> Page 3. <br /> town's share of revenues and they are to be used to augment conservation services. <br /> Jim agreed with Patrick that the dedicated fees are not really being used <br /> to augment services, but in tough times this money was required to keep the <br /> department going. <br /> Bob Sherman the Conservation Agent has suggested that the department <br /> expenses be reduced from $6,528 to $5,000 and that the $1,528 in savings be. <br /> put in the salary account. He would. still require an additional $2,000 - <br /> $3,000 to augment his hours and the secretary's. Hopefully during the <br /> year the department would have more dedicated funds to transfer, however, <br /> this is not a predictable amount. <br /> The Finance Committee agreed to take the information under advisement. <br /> The next scheduled meeting.of the Committee is March 19th at 6:30 p.m. <br /> At this meeting the Board of Assessors, Leisure Services, Board of Health <br /> and Kevin Harrington will be present to discuss the Committee.'s preliminary <br /> budget recommendations. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9 p.m. <br /> Board Secretary <br /> i <br />
