a <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 10, 2000 <br /> COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Communication from William Fisher: <br /> Correspondence was received from William Fisher,Environmental <br /> Consultant dated March 24, 2000 relative to his resignation from <br /> Woodard& Curran effective March 31, 2000. <br /> Mr. Fisher indicated that he is willing to provide the town with his <br /> technical expertise in his new position at URS-Dames & Moore. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the transfer of all <br /> engineering and consulting work associated under the management of <br /> William Fisher,P.E.to URS-Dames & Moore. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Future Agenda Topic: Update from William Fisher. <br /> Trek 2000 Autumn Escape Bike Trek—American Lung Association: <br /> Correspondence was received from the American Lung Association <br /> dated March 16, 2000 requesting the Board grant approval and recognition <br /> to pass through the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Trek 2000 is in its 16t'year. The Autumn Escape Bike Trek is set to take <br /> place Friday, September 15`h through Sunday, September 17 ', 2000. The <br /> event will raise funds to benefit the many programs of the American Lung <br /> Association of Massachusetts. Approximately 300 bicyclists will <br /> participate in the event. A proposed route was enclosed. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to grant approval and recognition <br /> in support of the Trek 2000 Autumn Escape.Bike Trek as outlined <br /> passing through the Town of Mashpee on September 15th through <br /> September 17` ,2000. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
