Mr. Ferriday stated that he <br /> thought the object of the fall town meeting was for zoning not <br /> money articles. He felt that that was the object of splitting the <br /> two town meetings. Ms. Greelish stated that she would write a memo <br /> to the Board of Selectmen explaining the committee's feelings that <br /> there should be no money articles on the fall warrant. <br /> Mr. Baker mentioned that the Fire chief and Deputy Chief have been <br /> refused payment for their educational stipends. Town Accountant <br /> stated that it is a one time payment. Mr. Baker stated that the <br /> union contract states it is paid annually. Personnel ruled 3-2 <br /> that they should get it annually. <br /> Ed Baker MOTIONED that the Chairperson, in the name of the Finance <br /> Committee, write a memo to the Board of Selectmen that it is the <br /> Finance Committee's opinion that educational incentive payments for <br /> all town personnel should be made only once if at all . John <br /> Ferriday seconded the motion and members voted 4-0. <br /> Deirdre Greelish then mentioned that she felt there should be <br /> certain positions taken out of the P.A.P. contract. She stated <br /> that she felt a memo should be sent to the Board of Selectmen. For <br /> example, she felt that the executive secretary should be covered <br /> under a personal contract not under the P.A.P. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 9: 00 PM.
