Mr. Haney
presented the Board with a list of residents and abutters opposed to the
construction and operation of a business involving auto repairs paint and
body shop work. This style of business is inconsistent with the general
residential flavor of the neighborhood, which surrounds the site and would
have a material adverse impact on the petitioner's homes.
The Selectmen agreed to consult the Zoning Board of Appeals and Board
of Health with respect to this regard. In addition, the Board of Selectmen
agreed to further review the information disseminated by Mr. Haney
relative to this matter.
