2 Board of Selectmen Minutes June 5, 2000 Public Comment: (continued) ' School Committee Chairman,Kathleen Lynch invited the Selectmen to attend a surprise reception honoring Janice Mills for twenty-five years of dedicated service. She requested the Board proclaim June 15, 2000 as Janice Mills Day in the Town of Mashpee. Approval of Proclamation—Janice Mills Day: Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above topic as an agenda item of the Board of Selectmen. Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Motion made by Selectman Taylor to proclaim June 15, 2000 as Janice Mills Day in the Town of Mashpee. Motion seconded by Selectman Green. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Public Hearin —Finally Dino's—Ex anion of Premises: Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced hearing. Selectman Cahalane presided, and opened the Public Hearing. Joyce Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the notice as published on the application of Barnstable Pizza and Pasta Co., Inc., d/b/a Finally Dino's, Constantinos Mitrokostas,Manager,-to alter the premises to include outside dining to serve alcohol with seating for 32 patrons and bar seating for 8 patrons. Constantinos Mitrokostas, owner and manager was present to discuss the license application with the Board. As noted,the Board of Health approved the request with the understanding that it will be seasonal outdoor seating from May 15 to October 15 annually. The Building Department has also approved the outdoor expansion project as proposed. In addition, the applicant has requested the Board approve the entertainment portion of the license for the proposed outdoor patio. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings would be dedicated family nights for pizza parties and movies. The outside dining area would be closed by 10:00 p.m. and as weather dictates.
