2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 5, 2000 <br /> Public Comment: (continued) <br /> ' School Committee Chairman,Kathleen Lynch invited the Selectmen to <br /> attend a surprise reception honoring Janice Mills for twenty-five years of <br /> dedicated service. She requested the Board proclaim June 15, 2000 <br /> as Janice Mills Day in the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Approval of Proclamation—Janice Mills Day: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above topic as an <br /> agenda item of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to proclaim June 15, 2000 as <br /> Janice Mills Day in the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Public Hearin —Finally Dino's—Ex anion of Premises: <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced hearing. <br /> Selectman Cahalane presided, and opened the Public Hearing. <br /> Joyce Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the notice as <br /> published on the application of Barnstable Pizza and Pasta Co., Inc., d/b/a <br /> Finally Dino's, Constantinos Mitrokostas,Manager,-to alter the premises <br /> to include outside dining to serve alcohol with seating for 32 patrons and <br /> bar seating for 8 patrons. <br /> Constantinos Mitrokostas, owner and manager was present to discuss the <br /> license application with the Board. As noted,the Board of Health <br /> approved the request with the understanding that it will be seasonal <br /> outdoor seating from May 15 to October 15 annually. The Building <br /> Department has also approved the outdoor expansion project as proposed. <br /> In addition, the applicant has requested the Board approve the <br /> entertainment portion of the license for the proposed outdoor patio. <br /> Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings would be dedicated family <br /> nights for pizza parties and movies. The outside dining area would be <br /> closed by 10:00 p.m. and as weather dictates. <br />
