11 <br /> MASHPEE FINANCE CICMMITTEE N E rM Mll`UrES <br /> DECEMBER 10, 1992 <br /> MEErIN= C C[+Il++ENCED AT 7:00 P.M. <br /> members Present: Deirdre Greelish, Chairperson; Dan Goggin; Denise <br /> Sullivan; Jahn Ferriday; Tony Gallo, Roger Dunivan, and Ed Baker. <br /> MINUIES <br /> The taping of this meeting is for the purpose of transcription only. This <br /> is not considered a permanent part of the record. Once the meeting <br /> minutes are approved, the tapes will be reused. Dan Goggin MIMCNED to <br /> accept the minutes of November 18, 1992. Roger Dunivan seconded the <br /> motion and the members voted 5-0 in favor of approving the minutes, Ed <br /> Baker and Tbny Gallo abstaining. <br /> Robert L. Mritenour, Jr., Executive Secretary, was present at the meeting <br /> to discuss a packet sent to all departments for the fiscal year 1994. The <br /> packet consisted of FY94 Budget Materials and Instructions. Mr. <br /> Whritenio r also had an Analysis of Available Revenues to review with the <br /> camnittee. Mr. Whritenour explained that at that time he, as well as the <br /> Board of Selectmen, had completed preliminary revenues and that they had <br /> asked departments to prepare their FY94 budgets. Members reviewed the <br /> Analysis of Available Revenues. $1,120,028 was the estimated net revenue <br /> from the state. The total non-property tax, local revenue was <br /> $2,035,000. The projected FY94 local property tax was $15,608,492. The <br /> total of all revenues projected for FY94 is $18,763,520. Mr. Whritenaur <br /> explained that without free cash the town has $63,257 over what they need <br /> in FY93. He explained that the town will need $85,000 for group health <br /> insurance alone. <br /> The cranberry bogs were mentioned and Mr. Whritenour stated that he was <br /> hoping to rebuild and get a better cranberry. The school addition was <br /> also mentioned and Mr. Whritenour stated that he would like to see the <br /> town bond now for the addition because the rates are the lawest that they <br /> have been in 25 years. He mentioned that he met with the Building <br /> CSmuttee and they know exactly what they need for the addition. <br />
