g <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 28, 2000 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Sian Request- Oktoberfest: <br /> Gus Frederick, Mashpee Leisure Services requested the Board approve of <br /> 2 signs; 4'x8' and 2 signs 3'x5' at the Mashpee rotary to announce the <br /> Mashpee Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 7, 2000 at Mashpee Commons <br /> from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the (4) sign requests to <br /> announce the Mashpee Oktoberfest as stipulated. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Request for Temporary Liquor License—Cape Cod Winer <br /> The Board reviewed the application received from the Cape Cod Winery <br /> for a temporary liquor license for the Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 7, <br /> 2000 at Mashpee Commons. <br /> The above referenced request was placed on hold. The applicant will be <br /> requested to discuss the license request with the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Request for I IF Benefits—Patrol Officer Lisa Hettinger: <br /> Correspondence was received from Acting Chief of Police Maurice <br /> Cooper dated August 15, 2000 recommending that benefits under MGL <br /> Chapter 41, Section 1 11F be approved for Patrol Officer Lisa Hettinger for <br /> injury on duty. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve of 111F Benefits for <br /> Patrol Officer Lisa.Hettinger as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
