He stated that he could <br /> not guarantee that he would be at everyone of them, but would try. <br /> Mrs. Greelish suggested that members take turns in attending the <br /> Selectmen's meetings on Monday nights, because they were so <br /> informative. <br /> Mrs. Greelish then withdrew her name from the nomination of <br /> chairman. Roger also withdrew his nomination. Mrs. Greelish voted <br /> to close the discussion. Mr. Ferriday seconded and it is noted <br /> that it was a unanimous vote by the Finance Committee that Mr. <br /> Goggin be chairman. <br /> Roger Dunivan nominated Deirdre Greelish to be vice chairman of the <br /> Finance Committee. Mr. Ferriday seconded the nomination. Mr. <br /> Goggin moved that the nominations be closed. Mr. Ferriday seconded <br /> and it is noted that the Finance Committee voted unanimously that <br /> Mrs. Greelish be vice chairman. <br /> Mrs. Greelish nominated Denise Sullivan to be clerk of the Finance <br /> Committee. John Ferriday seconded the nomination. Mr. Goggin <br /> moved that discussion be closed. Mr. Ferriday seconded and it is <br /> noted that Mrs. Sullivan, by unanimous vote is clerk of the <br /> committee. <br /> Mr. Goggin explained that Diane Rommelmeyer, Town Accountant, was <br /> invited to attend tonight's meeting but was unable. The committee <br /> decided that she would be invited to attend the next meeting on <br /> Tuesday, May 25, 1993 . <br /> Finance Committee again joined the Selectmen's meeting in progress <br /> to discuss beach stickers. Gus Frederick, Director Leisure <br /> Services, was present to discuss what he felt were the town's <br /> options. He stated that he compared surrounding towns and their <br /> beach sticker and lifeguard programs. The three options he <br /> believed were 1 . increasing resident stickers and time share <br /> stickers by $5.00; 2 . implementation of a fee per unit/per week on <br /> time shares and leave resident fees as is; and 3 . keep resident <br /> fees as is and drastically raise time share rates per season for <br /> each unit. <br /> Another question Selectmen will be discussing at a later time is a <br /> shuttle bus which commutes residents to South Cape Beach. <br /> Ms. Caffyn suggested that the Finance Committee be allowed to <br /> review Mr. Frederick's proposals and get back to them at a later <br /> time. The. Selectmen agreed unanimously that they would like to <br /> keep the residents sticker fees as is at $15.00 per car per <br /> residence. They agreed that Mr. Frederick should focus on <br /> interval ownerships, guest and summer fees. They agreed that a <br /> walk on system would be discussed if the shuttle bus was agreed <br /> upon. The Finance Committee will discuss beach stickers at a later <br /> time with the Selectmen. <br />
