1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 27, 2000 <br /> Present: Selectman Leveille, Selectman Cahalane, Selectman Taylor, <br /> Selectman Marsters, Selectman Green <br /> Town Administrator Robert Whritenour <br /> Assistant Town Administrator Joyce Mason <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Leveille at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> M1N UTES: <br /> Monday,November 13, 2000 Regular and Executive Sessions: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the Regular and <br /> Executive Session minutes of Monday, November 13, 2000 as <br /> presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Green abstained. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Comment: <br /> Greg Taylor, Director of Public Works discussed the snow plow deficit <br /> as it pertains to the hiring of private contractors for the upcoming season. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Acceptance of Salt Bid: <br /> The results of the Regional Salt Bid for FY2001 were presented to the <br /> Selectmen for approval. Morton Salt of Chicago, Illinois was the low <br /> bidder for the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Motion.made by Selectman Taylor to accept the bid of Morton Salt <br /> for road salt at the rate of 531.51 per ton. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
