It was noted that additional copies will be available in the Office of <br /> the Board of Selectmen. The public was invited to submit written comment <br /> to the Selectmen. <br /> NEW BUSMSS: <br /> S=orl of REP Issuangg for Watesshed NitroonPlanI <br /> Muent PiMline <br /> Design Preliminar <br /> Tom Fudala,the Town Planner was present to request the Selectmen support <br /> the Request For Proposal issuance for the Watershed Nitrogen Management Plan <br /> and Effluent Pipeline preliminary design. <br /> It was noted that the Sewer Commission voted to issue the RFP seeking a <br /> wastewater facilities planning/engineering consultant to develop a Nitrogen <br /> Management Plan for the Popponesset Bay watershed and portions of the <br /> Waquoit Bay watershed that lies within Mashpee. <br /> This is a conceptual plan to determine the right approach for wastewater <br /> treatment indicated Mr. Fudala. The consultant will also be expected to conduct <br /> public outreach and employ the services of Dr. Brian Howes who is developing <br /> a model for the plan informed Mr. Fudala. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to endorse enthusiastically, the <br /> RFP issuance for the Watershed Nitrogen Management Plan and Effluent <br /> Pipeline Preliminary Design proposal. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
