The Finance Committee will soon begin preparing the FY95 budget. We will use the same <br /> process followed last year. <br /> 1. You and your Finance Committee liaison will meet to discuss your budget. <br /> 2. Your liaison will return to the Finance Committee with the results of your joint decision, and <br /> the full Committee will deliberate. <br /> 3. We will notify you in writing of our recommendation for your FY95 budget. <br /> 4. We will schedule you to meet with the full Committee to review your budget, if you desire. <br /> Please incorporate the following special considerations as you plan your budget: <br /> • We will review fees and other non-tax revenue sources. <br /> Please fill out the enclosed form, one for each fee charged by your department. (Make copies <br /> of the form as necessary.) Estimate your receipts for 1995 and let us know if you believe a <br /> fee increase is warranted at this time. If there are services which you provide free of charge, <br /> but which you believe warrant review as fee-for-service, please list them as well. <br /> • We want to know about your personnel and ca ital needs by December 1. <br /> Let your Finance Committee liaison know as soon as possible if you plan to request additional <br /> personnel, and what capital equipment (new or replacement) you believe is appropriate this <br /> year.
