MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> FEBRUARY 22, 1994 <br /> MEETING COMMENCED AT 7:OOPM <br /> Members Present: Dan Goggin, Chairman; Deirdre Greelish; John <br /> Ferriday; Denise Sullivan; Tony Gallo; Roger Dunivan and Marcia <br /> King. <br /> Please note for the record that the taping of this meeting was for <br /> the transcription of the Minutes only. The tape will be reused <br /> once the Minutes are approved. <br /> Roger Dunivan MOTIONED to accept the Minutes of February 16, 1994 <br /> with an addition to page 3 , paragraph 4. Mr. Dunivan wanted it <br /> noted that he had also stated that evening that these discussions <br /> had been isolated expense discussions and not discussions of <br /> liaisons and their departments' budgets. It was not a review of <br /> specific departments. John Ferriday seconded the Motion as amended <br /> and members voted in acceptance of the Minutes 7-0. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED <br /> 4 <br /> The Finance Committee received a memo regarding an adjustment to <br /> the Human Services Budget Account from Elias McQuaid. The memo <br /> requested an increase from the preliminary budget of $3, 268.00 for <br /> Mr. Donald Chamberlain, Chief Executive Officer of the Cape Cod <br /> Human Services, Inc. <br /> The Committee received a copy of a memo sent to the Board of <br /> Selectmen, School Committee and all Town Departments from the <br /> Executive Secretary informing them of the workshop for the <br /> Department of Revenue Budget. The workshop is being sponsored by <br /> the Finance Committee on March 22, 1994 at 6:OOPM at Town Hall. <br /> The Committee received a memo written to all Boards and Departments <br /> from the Planning Department regarding a welcoming for Eloise <br /> Graveno, Assistant Town Planner on Friday afternoon at 3 :OOPM. <br /> The Committee received a letter from Carole Dunivan, Chairperson <br /> School Committee, in regard to a previous letter written to the <br /> Mashpee Messenger by Dan Goggin, Chairman. The letter had been in <br /> regard to the School Department. Mrs. Dunivan wished to state her <br /> disapproval of the letter and the Finance Committee. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE SENT BY THE FINANCE COMMITTEE <br /> The Committee sent a memo sent to the Board of Selectmen and the <br /> Executive Secretary regarding the Finance Committee's FY95 Budget <br /> Worksheets. Also included in the packet were memos regarding the <br /> Betterment Fund, vehicle replacement and a list of insured vehicles <br /> used by the Town. The Town Accountant was present at the meeting <br />
