Page 7 <br /> agreed that they would also go along with the Selectmen's <br /> recommendation for expenses $19,200. Ms. Greelish then mentioned <br /> taking $3 ,268 out of the selectmen's budget and putting it into the <br /> Board of Health's budget. <br /> ARTICLES <br /> The Committee reviewed both the Special Town Meeting Warrant and <br /> the Annual. These were the Articles that the Committee were not <br /> recommending. <br /> SPECIAL <br /> NOT recommending $7,500 for Planning Department transfer. Mr. <br /> Ferriday MOTIONED to not approve this Article. Marcia King <br /> seconded the Motion and members approved 4-0; $71,000 for school <br /> budget increase; $9 ,550 for police dispatchers increase; and <br /> $10,000 patrolmen's salary increase. There was a question <br /> regarding the Medicare Article. They agreed to skip the Article <br /> for the exemption from the part time building inspector and they <br /> agreed to only recommend $6,000 for the DPW wage increases not <br /> $14 ,000. John Ferriday MOTIONED to decrease the amount from <br /> $14,000 to $6,000 for DPW wage increases. Marcia King seconded the <br /> Motion and members voted 4-0 approving. <br /> In regard to the Article for the Town Hall feasibility study, Mr. <br /> Ferriday would like to see a study of the Town Hall and the <br /> building and what the building can do. Ms. Greelish indicated that <br /> she was going to send a memo requesting that the Carlson study be <br /> looked at again. <br /> ANNUAL <br /> The Committee agreed to NOT recommend $8,000 for 2 DPW seasonal <br /> employees; $42,809 for a Human Resource Director; $3 ,539 for a full <br /> time Harbormaster; $13 , 306 part time Conservation Agent Assistant, <br /> with the exception of Mr. Ferriday he approved; teachers early <br /> retirement incentive program; revolving account for early childhood <br /> program; and road machinery fund. <br /> The next meeting will be held on Monday night, April 4, 1994 at <br /> 7:OOPM. The Finance Committee is scheduled to meet with the <br /> Selectmen at 6:OOPM. Minutes were submitted by Jean M. Mooney, <br /> Recording Secretary. <br />
