Mr. Hauck stated that he has asked Town <br /> Counsel for legal opinion and he has not heard. Mr. Goggin <br /> mentioned that he would contact Mr. Whritenour and see what he has <br /> to say about Town CounsellIs opinion. Mr. Hauck concluded by saying <br /> that if funds will be available from the Reserve Fund, then this <br /> Article can be removed from the Warrant. Mr. Goggin did feel that <br /> lawyers should decide. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Mr. Goggin reminded the Committee that they had told the Personnel <br /> Board that they would review the PAP and get back to them with <br /> their suggestions and ideas of policies that concern the Finance <br /> Committee. Ms. King mentioned that she had reviewed the PAP and <br /> made and noted a few comments. Mr. Goggin suggested that Ms. <br /> Sullivan and Ms. King form a subcommittee and put a draft together <br /> and be ready to discuss it with the Committee in a couple of weeks. <br /> Mr. Goggin also mentioned that he would like Ms. King to understand <br /> the formula for the Education Reform Act by the September 27th <br /> meeting with the School Committee. <br /> Mr. Goggin asked about Steven Maloney, who the Committee had <br /> interviewed at the prior meeting? The Committee suggested, that <br /> with no other applicants, Mr. Goggin should telephone him. <br /> WARRANT <br /> The Committee agreed that they were all set with the Warrant. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:50PM.
