Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 9 <br /> January 25, 1999 <br /> APPOINTMENT5 AND HEARINGS- <br /> Emcst Virgilio- Cape Cod Commission Stato R <br /> Mashpee's representative to the Cape Cod Commission, Ernest Virgilio was <br /> present to update the Selectmen on future projects. As noted, the CCC met <br /> last Thursday, and granted approval of the Boch Center for the Performing Arts. <br /> Several pending projects include the Mashpee Commons Five Neighborhood <br /> Project, the Talanian Realty Project and MMR issues. <br /> Mr. Virgilio stated that he is pleased to be Mashpee's representative to the <br /> Commission. He will update the Selectmen when necessary regarding future <br /> projects. The Selectmen requested information pertaining to the Talanian <br /> Realty development project as it relates to public hearings and input. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Appointment of Associate Member-Planning Board: <br /> Under bylaw provisions,the Selectmen and Planning Board, by majority <br /> vote annually to appoint an Associate Member to the Planning Board for a <br /> one year term to expire; December 31. <br /> The Board received a roll call vote from the Planning Board for appointment <br /> of Associate Member. As follows; <br /> Chance Reichel for Alison Bressie <br /> Dennis Balzarini for Beverly Kane <br /> John Kuchinski for Beverly Kane <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to appoint Beverly Kane as <br /> an Associate Member of the Planning Board. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: Kenneth, yes Curtis,yes <br /> Wayne,yes Nancy, yes <br /> David,yes Opposed, none <br />
