6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 8, 1999 <br /> COMM MCATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Historic District Study Commission: (continued) <br /> The newly formed committee is presently reviewing maps of the Town of <br /> Mashpee informed Selectman Frye. A full report is anticipated to be <br /> presented to the voters at the October 1999 Town Meeting. The next <br /> scheduled meeting is Wednesday, February 10, 1999 at 4:30 p.m. <br /> Selectman Frye indicated that the study committee voted to request the <br /> Selectmen appoint Jack McGee to serve as an alternate member of the <br /> Historic District Study Commission. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to appoint Jack McGee to the <br /> Historic District Study Commission as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Acce Lance of Deed to MacDonald Pro <br /> Correspondence was received from the Town Planner dated February 2, <br /> 1999 recommending the Selectmen vote to accept the deed to the <br /> MacDonald property. <br /> It was noted that Town Meeting voted last May to authorize the purchase <br /> on the property located on Moody Pond adjacent to the Johns Pond Park <br /> Conservation Area. <br /> Town Counsel has reviewed the deed to form. Both the Selectmen and <br /> Conservation Commission must vote to accept the deed to the property <br /> prior to the closing. A closing date has been scheduled for February 16, <br /> 1999. <br />
